Ace Header
BRZ FR-S GT86 and the Best Design Header
Here
at Ace Header we started with a goal in mind. We wanted to manufacture a BRZ
FR-S GT86 header that would make our race car achieve it’s maximum horsepower
and torque potential out of the flat boxer 4 Toyota/Subaru engine.
At
the time, all BRZ FR-S GT86 headers on the market did not fit out requirements.
So we took a break from our Volkswagen and Porsche manufacturing and called all
the engineers together to get to work designing a class leading header for
competition.
A
few months (and a few welding burns) later, we created what is now known as the
Ace Header Type A 350. This design was not originally thought to be a product
for sale, but during a visit to California we had some other ideas.
Since
then, Ace Header has continued to experiment and build prototypes for Turbo,
Supercharged and High Output N/A’s for the BRZ FR-S GT86. Our main gaol is to
make people enjoy these cars and squeeze every last drop of power from it in
order to get the “thrown-in-the-seat feeling when accelerating or during corner
exit.
We
will continue to always push the boundaries of exhaust manufacturing and hope
that our partners and customers continue to give us great on-the-road feedback
of our product.
More
new designs for headers and other exhaust components will be released in 2016.
